Valkyrie Drive Mermaid is an anime series that revolves around the concept of weaponized girls, known as Extars, who can transform into weapons when sexually aroused by their partners, known as Liberators. The story follows Mamori Tokonome, a girl who is sent to an island where Extars and Liberators are forced to fight for entertainment. There, she meets Mirei Shikishima, a mysterious Liberator who protects her from the island’s dangers. Together, they try to find a way to escape the island and uncover its secrets.
