Title: Conception
On his high school graduation day, Itsuki Yūge receives unexpected news from his cousin, Mahiru: she’s pregnant. But their lives take an even stranger turn when a mysterious gate of light appears, transporting them to the fantastical world of Granvania.
In Granvania, celestial disturbances known as “Impurities” threaten the Stars, causing chaos and disorder. Itsuki discovers that he is fated to meet the “Star Maidens,” and he is Granvania’s last hope. His task? To produce “Star Children” by forming bonds with these celestial beings and combating the Impurities.
Unless Itsuki completes this mission, he may never be able to return home. The fate of two worlds rests on his shoulders.
Conception blends romance, fantasy, and adventure as Itsuki navigates this strange new world, forging connections with the Star Maidens and striving to fulfill his destiny.
The anime aired from October 10 to December 26, 2018, and was produced by Gonzo. It served as a promotional tie-in for Conception Plus, an enhanced version of the original PSP game with features from the PS4 remake . The opening theme is “Star light, Star bright” by nano, while the ending theme is “Desires” by Manami Numakura.
