Isuca is a Japanese anime series based on the manga of the same name by Osamu Takahashi. The story follows Shinichirou Asano, a high school student who gets hired as a housekeeper by Sakuya Shimazu, the head of the Shimazu clan and a powerful exorcist. Together, they fight against malicious spirits called Isuca that feed on human desires and emotions. Along the way, they encounter allies and enemies from different factions and learn more about the secrets of the Isuca and the Shimazu family.
